
HERB WALKS 2010

The herb walks will go from the Ecohome along the side of the Avon and up into Rownham Wood or along the Gorge towards the underside of the Suspension Bridge. Plants will be identified and their medicinal uses explained, including traditional and modern uses.
Afterwards, back at the CREATE Centre, we will sample some herb teas made from herbs that have been harvested from in around Bristol over the past year.
The talk will be about the modern practice of herbal medicine as part of an holistic view of healthcare, and how this is a vibrant and developing science, accessible to all.

The cost for each walk is £5, payable on the day. Please book a place in advance as numbers will have to be limited owing to the regular occurrence of kamikaze cyclists along the riverside path. If you book a place and then can’t make it on the day please let us know as soon as you can.
